My friends tell me mind is my special characteristic, that the experiences I've had and the way I see the world are what sets me apart from most of their other friends. I'm an intellectually engaging communicator with an obvious flare for the philosophical aspects about the ways we conduct our relationships. Like most who study it, my tertiary study in behavioural and social sciences was an obvious association with an intrinsic desire to understand myself and my relationships. With no kids nor past wife in the history of me, I've spent a lot of time with my furkids as my intimate connection to this life. Yet now I'm seeking to share my knowledge and experiences, my understanding about human places in this world, with someone also seeking to create the meanings that will guide our happiness in the time we have left. An intimate confidante who likes to find their happiness in the simple pleasures of openly sharing a life and one's time with people who make us happier with the lot we were dealt, a life of what we can manage instead of one focusing on what we can't do for infinite reasons. I'm looking for someone who has also come to know, or started understanding/suspecting, that we cannot find the meaning of life by constantly seeking to FIND it. For instead we know that meaning can only be CREATED. It doesn't exist until you have the accessibility to share an experience with one or more others and decide together what it means. I am looking for an intimate significant other who has shifted or is shifting from soul seeking to soul indulging, one who wants to share the simple things that make them happy with someone reciprocating in kind.
