Hi, just moved to Long Beach so I could be near the VA. Yes I am a veteran, served my country in a helicopter rescue unit as a paramedic. I have a MBA from SF State and back in school part time at Biola University pursuing my MA in Theology. I'm well educated, articulate, speak fluent sarcasm and crave for intellectual conversation. I love to travel, swim, do yoga, research topics on the internet and listen to motivating and interesting podcasts. I’m honest, loyal, compassionate and romantic. I’m looking for a good friend for now, I have so much to share and if it goes well I’d love to consider a long term relationship. I’m a hopeless romantic and I love being a gentleman. Looking to bring someone home to my family 😘.
Very dedicated to my church. I attend and lead Bible studies a couple times a week. Youth ministry on the weekends and preparing to teach classes after summer break.
I've lived a very blessed life so far and have 3 beautiful children and a two granddaughter. Retired in my mid 40's worked in some great startups and venture firms. I’m an entrepreneur and still consult, write business plans, social media strategies and start up infrastructure. After the corporate grind i opened a small surf resort in Costa Rica, surf and taught yoga for 10 years. Spent 6 months of the year in Costa and the other in Lake Tahoe.
The next chapter, three years ago this all came to an abrupt halt when I broke my neck while visiting my son on Catalina. I was in a wheelchair for a year and was told I wouldn’t walk again. But God had other plans and I’m walking. Recovery has been difficult because I'm so active but I've made great progress. It’s amazing how resilient the human body is. I had to learn almost every thing again. This incident has developed courage and much needed renewed faith in my life and has made me spiritually fit. I’m so grateful to be alive I’ve given my life and service to God.
I hope this isn't too much of a deterrent for someone but i operate under full disclosure. Been a beach kinda guy all my life, have quite a few tattoos too. My family is so precious to me. Hope to hear from you soon!😘
