Hello there! I've had a great life and became disabled quite a few years ago.
I am seeking someone to have conversations with and dating only. I cannot marry because I was once married and then divorced. Perhaps I will find someone to talk to about this and maybe this can be worked out but the most important thing is to just be friends and spend time together. I do not wish to travel very far or have correspondences too far from where I live.
Although I am disabled, I am highly functional and do not pose any problems for people who get involved with me. I take my medication daily and I am fine. Life has been great for me and then for some strange reason, bipolar disorder (that's my disability) had crept into my life and really changed things around.
I love animals and like to be around people who are confident, humorous, and understanding. I have a cat named Muffin and she is so much fun to spend time with. I would love to meet someone who loves animals. Perhaps we could spend time together with them and take care of them.
I am not a perfect person. But everyday, I try to do better than the day before. I have an admiration for life and all the things that go with it. As I've gotten older, as with most people, there's a maturation process that goes along with it and mine has been really nice although I wish it could have happened sooner. What I mean by that is that I have spent so much time with career orientation, that I have by-passed a lot of "life" opportunities where I could have chosen to do things that would have been a lot of fun. Prior to my diagnosis, I had graduated college and started graduate school, worked at a rewarding technically oriented job, learned to fly, was a skydiver and scuba diver, and have had very enjoyable hobbies.
