While I'm not physically or mentally disabled now, I was both until recently. I have found that a disability forces a person to develop a depth of character and reliance on one's abilities with more focus and determination than many able-bodied people. I have found that people with disabilities enjoy taking risks and are more creative when problem-solving. While I'm comfortable with people with many disabilities, there are people with disabilities I have neither the talent nor the emotional capacity to live with. I live alone, but my apartment is far from barrier-free. However, if you are wheelchair-bound, don't weigh too much, and don't mind being lifted up and down a stairway, I can provide a comfortable home. I can live with a woman who is deaf, but I don't know sign language. However, I'm an excellent writer and can easily learn sign language with the proper patience and humor. If you're blind or severely visually impaired, I can read for you and provide you with any services or assistance you may desire. I have neither the talent nor patience for women with emotional disabilities. You must not smoke - ANYTHING. If you drink alcohol, it must be in moderation. You need some income. It does not matter how small. I make enough to support two people on what I make from Social Security. You MUST be at least 65 years old and ready, willing, and able to enter a permanent physical and emotional relationship. If you are less than 65, you must demonstrate a certain level of maturity and responsibility to make up for the inexperience of your age. I'm Jewish, and practicing my faith is important. Whatever your religion, caring for those unloved and taking action to right the wrongs of society should be important to you. You must be an active conversationalist. You must be willing to ask questions about me and answer those I ask you. TOTAL AND UNHESITANT HONESTY IS A REQUIREMENT! I will trust you from the start and won't make you "earn" it. I expect the same from you. Your current living situation must be intolerable, and you must be ready to move in with me and share my bed in March 2024. I realize my requirements may be unrealistic to some, but to a few, they may be a welcome relief from hollow promises given to you in the past. I'm far from perfect. I require much "alone time" for meditating and writing. I have a massive vinyl record collection and enjoy listening to fold/rock music from the 70s and 80s. I even recorded my own album, and I'm in the process of opening a recording studio to re-record. If you're deaf or hearing-impaired, the lyrics to my music are as important as the sound and I'd enjoy sharing the lyrics to the music I love with you. YOU MUST NOT HAVE CHILDREN WHO LIVE WITH YOU!
