Spent many years in high level positions in state government, moved to the technology industry (good $$ but hated the culture. B.A. in history and MPA. Detroit born and still love Motown and other citiesMoved on to an executive position in the non-profit world and finally to academia where I taught public policy at Western Michigan U.Despite my physical limitations I enjoy boating, traveling and the pleasure of a woman who is independent, has intellectual curiosity, an honest approach to life and a sense of humor. I enjoy cooking for family and friends and since my wife passed last fall from the Corona virus, I've been pretty much cooking for one and dealing with leftovers. 3 wonderful daughter's who all live on the east coast. Maine, New Jersey and Rhode Island. I have 7 grandkids, Simply trying to find a friend with similar interests. I live on an Island (literally) and my vacations involve museums, great food ,boating and places like Sanibel Island in Florida and Mackinac Island in Michigan.
