Hello, and thanx in advance 4 your interest. I am a widower; male, Caucasian, and currently unattached (no children), seeking contact with ladies interested in serious commitment. Wife of 15 years passed away in 2009 at the tragically young age of 47, due to multiple, steadily worsening health issues. Stood beside her to the end, a care-giver with 2 jobs.
Six months later, my life was transformed when I was afforded the opportunity to take an early retirement.
I now have the leisure time to truly LIVE.
I am fiercely loyal to friends and loved ones who return my friendship and affection, and typically go out of my way to please. They are precious and irreplaceable. Sometimes awkward approaching others in public settings, but have no problem socializing once contact is initiated. Well-educated, and can fluidly discuss a broad range of subjects. Make effort to be a good listener, and I always respect the sensibilities of others.
I have a wide range of interests and am open to trying new things. I love music, concerts, attending movies, dining out, cultural events, etc. Can do some cooking , seeking to learn much more. Willing and able to maintain a working partner’s household.
My only handicap is congenital; I have a repaired Cleft Lip and unrepaired Cleft Palate (speech is corrected via an obdurator).
