I enjoy nights in watching movies, but it's nice to get out now and then for a meal or evening out to see something at the pub, cinema or on the stage.
I suffer with chronic pain which makes it difficult for me to get around without using my walking stick or a scooter for longer distances.
I spend half my time resting with my feet up, which helps to reduce my pain. However my difficulties don't stop me form doing anything I like to do. I try to stay as active as I can.
I like to go for short walks in the countryside or the beach. Especially with my dog, she is a beagle and I also have a snake.
I like to visit zoo's, aquariums and see wildlife.
I've spent most of my working life in many jobs within the care industry, from working in the ambulance service to running care homes. I now volunteer, supporting and providing information for disabled or ill people in need.
I like to travel, so long as it's within my abilities. Holidays are not just for relaxing, there are places to explore and things to see and learn.
I'm affectionate but not the sort of person that is overly physically affectionate in public. Cuddling up on an evening or lounging in bed together is my idea of peace and relaxation.
I'm looking for a companion who likes spending time together but has their own interests too.
I'm sensitive and emotional, although I do my best not to show it.
I would like someone who is understanding about the difficulties I face and sees beneath the daily façade.
