I think the first dates should be someplace public and comfortable and quiet where two people can sit and chat face to face for as long or as short as they';d like. To me this is more of a meet and greet but I think it's a good idea to see how you click and get along before spending hours or the day together.



I do like the traditional dinner and a movie, but that's more for when you've gotten to know each other a little better. It's hard to chat and get to know someone when you're both silent watching a movie or concert or show.
