If I rely on God to answer my prayers all I can is hope and pray

And if I trust in His Word all I can do is put it in His time
That the day will come that I will be yours and you will be mine

So where we go from here is only left to following our hearts
I know this is a blessing from God and nothing will make us part
That when He seen our lonely hearts He put us together
so that we could be one

He doesn't want us to walk through life alone,
but together we shall run
Not to see who can get there first
because it would be horrific if I was there before you or you before me
It was meant that we be together forever
because that is the way it was meant to be

As I put my heart out there I want you to grab a hold and don't let go
Because I will always be there for you and that is something you should always know
