I Would Describe Myself As

I’m sure like most of us, I never expected to be doing something like this or being in this position. I guess I am supposed to talk about myself which I really hate doing, or maybe I’m just not used to it.
For many many years I was an avid scuba diver and I was lucky enough to travel to so many wonderful places. I really miss that. I had my own business for a long time but at one time things started happening and I had to slow down.
Through all of this I have a great sense of humor and really dislike pity! I am a cancer survivor which eventually led to my disability. I was still able to carry-on though and do about anything I wanted to. A couple of years ago I lost my wife to cancer, then Covid hit and then I had a stroke. A lot of stuff in a short period of time for sure. I know I have a long way to go because of my stroke, but I will certainly try my best.
Like I said before I am not very comfortable about talking about myself so I guess I will just leave it at that for now. By the way the picture was taken several years ago before all of this stuff started happening. I wish everyone the best!
