I am an Army veteran who was a medical specialist. I live in the city but really like the country lifestyle. I grew up in a small town. I’ve two children, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I retired from a civil service position. My interests include genealogy research, reading historical romances, watching movies based on historical facts, bird watching and feeding them. I like cats and have one. I also like dogs but prefer small ones. I walk with a cane or a walker due to chronic pain and changes to my back. I have a few other issues also but only the back pain stops me from doing some things that I used to enjoy. I am looking for companionship first and love second if it happens. I have been married twice, both are deceased. I am not interested in marrying again. I own my own home in a quiet neighborhood.
