I'm a glass half full person and I don't let my disability define me. I have hip problems and so can't walk far without using a stick. Round the house and short distances are ok. I drive and like to get out and about. I love the countryside and travelling, which has been curtailed this year, but I have optimistically booked a cruise for next year. I am a retired primary school teacher but don't let that put you off, I'm not bossy. I'm a chatty, happy person who treats every day as a bonus. As you can see I'm vegan, which happened 2 years ago on a trip to India. I don't understand people who say they love animals, and then eat them. How can you love a dog but eat a lamb? It doesn't make sense. However, I try not to judge people but couldn't date a huge meat eater. I'm always up for a sensible discussion. I have 2 daughters and 2 gorgeous grandchildren. They all live near, so we are close and see a lot of each other. I help out with childcare and love a good rough and tumble with my 6 year old grandson!I have a sister in USA which is great for holidays! A the moment I can't think of anything else to say-I need a coffee!
