I'm a semi-retired teacher and writer, hooked on movies with subtitles and coffee. I recently recovered from a long-term illness (because I take excellent care of myself), so I'm gradually increasing my activities. Bike riding and dancing are my main forms of exercise. All of my pictures were taken in the last 18 months. My main photo was taken on my 61st birthday. I don't look or act my age. My 40 yr old sons are NOT children. I'm deeply religious, but I have more in common with atheists and agnostics. Spirituality is open-mindedness. I'd like to meet someone who can have fun without alcohol; who likes dancing, lively conversation and laughter. I want to be accepted for who and what I am. I am American, not West Indian or African. I welcome honesty, constructive criticism and challenges, but the one thing I can't tolerate is bigotry, racism, and prejudice, drama and manipulation. (OK, that's 5 things, but I said I'm a writer, not mathematician :-) I admire people who are creative thinkers, with practical skills, talent and natural intelligence.
