Okay. So you really can't know anyone until you meet him or her, right? This profile will be like most. It will describe me as kind, inquisitive, adventuresome, and intellectual. It will tell you that I love the ocean and being in nature, that I love going to the movies and eating popcorn and Goobers for my supper. But the first thing you need to know about me is two years ago I had a rare stroke in my spinal canal and now use a wheelchair to get around when I leave my house. The second thing you need to know is that not having full use of my legs does not define who I am. I love to travel and discover new cultures and went to the Galapagos last fall by myself in my wheelchair. An avid gardener, a chicken keeper, a beekeeper (until recently), a scuba diver, and a kayaker, I drive my own car and work in the non-profit arts arena. Smart, sexy and sometimes sassy, people tell me I have a beautiful and engaging smile. Believing that actions speak louder than words, you will discover that I am one of the most loyal, empathetic and compassionate people you may ever meet.
