Soulmates and love are like remote controls, or better yet, car keys. When you've lost them and are looking for them you can't seem to find them anywhere. They're not under the cushion, nor under the couch... you're looking everywhere in the house and running late to meet your date. You finally settle in and call your friends telling them you can't find your keys, you had them when you got home from the store and can't find them anywhere and you're going to be late. So you take a deep breath, open up the fridge to grab something to drink and relax and as you reach for that beer or wine you bought earlier, there they are... in the least place you'd expect them to be.

Moral of the story: Don't lose your car keys :)
And, I don't think people find a soulmate by looking for one. I believe it just happens when it happens...
