Myself In A Poem
Today is a new beginning for me I must say,
To express myself all in a poem sorry of way.
For it will show others the person that I be,
And find a lady with a heart of gold you see
I'm afraid, being hurt many times, but then,
I am going to try looking once more again.
Can't deal with hurt from all the cheaters,
Nor liars, thieves or drugs from repeaters.
I am a one woman's man that is all truly so,
Whom don't like cheaters, that now you know.
For I am also a romantic and intelligent man,
Whom is only a human being, not Superman.
I'm a whole hearted loving, caring individual,
Whom is faithful and honest; I am not a fool.
I am very artistic and love playing the guitar,
As I wrote songs, poetry and wisdom so far.
Enough about what I am or about what I hate.
Let's talk about my likes which I feel is great.
I like all music styles, cookin' and the outdoors,
Also night star gazing and walks by the shores.
I like boating and watching sports, yes I do,
Cuddling, concerts, karaoke and dancing to.
Marriage minded, long-term relationship I be,
I look for the same in you; might you be free?
Now the time is all so near for me to close,
If you hung it out this far and did not doze,
And you liked all what you have read here,
Then tell about yourself, I'll lend you my ear.
