My name is Alan I have travelled widely from Java to Iceland, California to New Zealand. I am medium height and raring to see much more. I enjoy photography and love natural history, butterflies and birds. I am a retired Graphic Designer and appreciate beautiful things and ditto people. Colour is important to me too I worked as Bernat Klein's assistant designer for a while in the Borders. My element is the air and latterly I enjoyed paragliding - Austrian Alps: Hungary: Malta : Scotland, to name but a few. Sunsets and silence mean much to me. Classical music - I sang in StGiles Cathedral choir and enjoy listening to live orchestral music, but Jazz I also appreciate. I have a sense of humour by the way. The Goon Show says it all. Enthusiasm I admire.
