I don't like writing about myself, but here we go! I was diagnosed with PTSD and DID
Which obviously wasn't good news 6 years ago. I hear audio hallucinations and no Psyciatrist can offer anything other then medicine and deep therapy. I've been divorced for six years after 18 years due to cheating on me. The stigma around mental illness is something I have brought to congress.
The mentally ill include millions who have different levels of functionality. I fortunately am highly functional. My friends say "you definiyely don't act mentally ill. But what they don't understand is I am battling listening to the voices 24x7 and try to listen to someone talking to me. But, I am a very strong woman and will not my illnesses define me. Dating is difficult as soon as I share I am on disability. They automatically think "crazy".which is far from who I am.
I am genuine. Laid back but active, huge sports fans, affectionate, compassionate, honest, compassionate, smartt, have been told I'm attractive, I love to travel sea or ski, walks hand in hand, cooking, gardening, make my own jewelry, interior decorating, outgoing, witty, can be sarcastic humor and easily laugh at myself. I'm looking for that genuine person. Someone who can have lively discussions, love unconditionally, is not racist or anti-gay, be spontaneous taking off on a trip in a minutes notice., and a great sense of humor. If you can make me belly laugh...you had me at hello. If any of this interests you, please contact me. Worse case, we met a new friend!
