I Would Describe Myself As

I’m a retired MD, disabled by congenital CP and late onset 2016 spinal stenosis. Despite my physical limitations of recent years, I retain an intellectually curious, happy demeanor, witty personality. I live alone in my own apartment, having been separated for 4 years. I have 3 wonderful adult children. I ambulate by walker, and a sturdy motorized wheelchair which takes me to stores and the library. An aide assists me each morning. I love to read, listen to music, occasionally watch streaming movies and TV, and keep up with the world via books, the New Yorker, the Times. I’m a lifelong Red Sox fan (despite their unlucky season!) I love to be with people. I love to laugh, and do so! I’m hoping to meet a likewise-friendly social optimistic woman, whose disabilities have not restricted their continued love of life, and would enjoy being with me. Age is not absolute, but I would imagine 50’s to early 60’s is preferable.
