I am a contented, good hearted and some what idealistic woman who
enjoys getting to know people and issues on a real and deep level.
A few years ago I moved across the country on my own from Ontario to British Columbia in order to be closer to my children and their families who live on the west coast. I am happy to now be settled in Vancouver although I am adventurous enough to consider moving again.

I got lucky, although I have used a wheelchair since 1995, I can still do most things very well except walk.

I'm intrigued by "The Five Things We Cannot Change....and the Happiness We Find by Embracing Them" by David Richo.
He explains his concept that there are certain facts of life like --the unavoidable "givens" of human existence.
I like that it evokes provocative and inspiring thought that challenges our ego....oh, oh!! (smile)
