I have been divorced for three years(I was in a very loving marriage for over 15 years and he decided out of the blue that he was tired of living with a DISABLED person). So I am basically terrified of being single again in this mean old world. LOL I think I want to start out looking for a great friend and then go from there.



I love a wonderful sense of humor. I appreciate an intelligent man, someone who is confident with his self, but not arrogant. *smiles* The first thing I notice when I see a man, are his eyes...you can see the soul of a man through his eyes..next I notice his smile...beautiful eyes and an awesome smile... Then I want to know if they have a good sense of humor...cause I love to laugh and I love a man who can make me laugh. A good sense of humor goes a long way with me. And then most important, you gotta love animals. I do not trust people that do not like animals. :D My pets are like my children to me...so it is VERY IMPORTANT for you to know this up front and that you love pets too. I am sorry if this seems kinda whacko and I keep repeating it, I just want to make sure that we have this in common with each other. It is important to me.....



I love messing around in my flower garden, it is VERY relaxing to me, digging in the dirt and such, I love a beautiful yard....when the flowers are all blooming, it makes all the work SO worth it. I love to sit outside with a cold drink or a cup of coffee and some good music and chill while checking out all my beautiful flowers....watching the hummingbirds and butterflies and birds!! *smiles* I like to swim, fish, go camping ('cept I can't rough it anymore..GOT to have some AC for this gal) I love thunderstorms and rain...the smell of rain is amazing and reminds me that I am ALIVE. I am kind, sensitive, caring, loving, and loyal. I love to sing...I grew up in a *musical* family, lol, and some of my BEST memories in life iclude music with my family. I am a mother to two grown boys that I love with all my heart. I could not ask for better kids....they never gave me any problems when they were growing up and I feel blessed to have them in my life.



Let's see...I don't smoke, never have, and I would PREFER not to date a smoker....it is a disgusting, stinky and expensive habit, plus I have asthma so being around smoke can make me ill. Ok, enough about that...LOL I don't drink...(once in a blue moon I will have one) altho I did my share of it when I was young...I dont need liquor to have a good time. I am not into the bar scene....gave that up when I was young too. I love all kinds of music. Well....I am not too crazy about the HARD stuff or jazz but I will listen to ANYTHING once. My fav is old rock and roll...it is hard to beat and being from Texas, I grew up with C&W so of course I like it....I prefer the older country compared to what they sing now...I'll take Patsy Cline ANYDAY. :) I also love alternative and soul music. A good song can make you feel alot of things. I guess that is why so many people love it. :D I know how to cook and am pretty good at it, but it is not my favorite thing to do. (Too many years of slaving over a stove without any appreciation! LOL) Of course, it might be fun AND romantic if we did it together. LOL.



WOW...this is MUCH more than I intended to say. :) I talk to much when I am nervous....hahaha. I am also very shy in the beginning, but that goes away after I know you a bit. I think I am worth a try. If nothing else, I am a good listener and I make a GREAT friend!!!
