I Would Describe Myself As

Before my stroke I was very active. I cooked, baked, cleaned the house/yard/pool/cars and garage. I was married but now legally separated (more about that when and if we chat). My stroke was in 2020, I had recently retired and boom, the stroke.

Now that I am on my own, living by myself, I am slowly getting back to doing the things above that I am able.

I had a hypertension bleed on my left side of my head causing temporary paralysis to my right side, and yes I was right handed. Today I have drop foot on the right side and my right hand/arm is not functioning well. I cannot use the hand or arm however, I can open and close the hand and raise the arm, both with difficulty.

I drive with a modified SUV that has a left gas pedal and spinner knob, so I am quite independent.
