Hello:) Thank you for taking the time to view my profile:) My name is Ricky Gutierrez and I'm from Moreno Valley CA(about 1 hour from L.A:) I am 31yrs old and I'm an AMAZING, MIRACULOUS AND VERY INSPIRERATIONAL brain tumor/cancer survivor:) Now that I was given a "second chance" at life, I'm looking for a SWEET, DOWN TO EARTH, CARING WOMAN, that is able to deal with my situation(look past my disabilties) and see the AMAZING, INTELLIGENT, CHARMING, FUNNY and SWEET MAN to enjoy life with because "LIFE IS TOO SHORT" not to enjoy it, right? Let me share my UNBELIEVEABLE and AMAZING story(that I wrote) explaining what happened to me that a lot of people have wrote to me have said, "Your story should be made into a book or movie:) This way, you have some "background" info on me. You know what I mean? The only thing is, I'm only allowed so many characters(words) on here, so, if you'd like to continue to to read my story, please contact me:) My story- To anyone that would like to know what happend to me: Here's a basic rundown from something I wrote. SURGEON GENERAL WARNING: This story may cause "tearing up!" Well, here's my story- I was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor(Stage 4/grade 4 Medullo Blastoma) May 26, 2009 and was put in the hospital right away. I wasn't even allowed to go home. I thought they would remove the tumor and everything would be alright. Boy, was I wrong! I had surgery on May 29(My birthday, what a present) were they removed all of the tumor.(a total resection is what it is called) When I had my surgery, the surgeon had told my mom and myself, that I had a 50/50 chance of surviving the surgery and to gather up my friends and my family to say my "goodbyes" The doctors and my surgeon didn't think I would make it through the surgery I was about to have done to remove my cancerous brain tumor. Imagine being in my shoes or hearing your child has cancer and is "probably not going to make it through surgery?" Wow, I couldn't belive what I was hearing! I couldn't believe this was happening to me! I just graduated college(CSUSB) earning my B.A. in history,(was going to school to become a teacher), just bought a big and beautiful brand new house and car, and was about to get married in a month to my fiancee, Crystal of whom I dated for 8 years! If you're a woman, age 25-45 yrs old(I'm 31 yrs young and I'm the Los Angeles CA area) who is social and outgoing(likes to travel and go places(in others words, not looking for a couch potato) intelligent(able to have a intelligent conversation with me) a caring and BIG hearted person:) My ideal match, would have to be a woman, who is strong minded, loves to be affectionate(likes to cuddle and snuggle), willing to drive me places(because I don't drive unfortunately now) and is willing to look past my "out of my control/wasn't my choice to be like this) disabilities(like being in a wheelchair and having a speech problem(it's a little hard to understand me at first but it gets easier, trust me:) Yeah, because I'm now in a wheelchair and like I mentioned, my speech isn't up to "PAR", people automatically think "Well, because of his disabilties, he must be "off" or he must not be capable of understanding" NO SORRY, THAT'S NOT THE CASE AT ALL:) I'm still highly intelligent ,VERY COGNITIVE, sharp as a whistle ", and I comprehend everything. The funny thing is, that I'm probably smarter then the person talking to me. lol Oh, and I love to joke around( I have a great sense of humor so you should too) Having a sense of humor is very important to me:) Basically, I'm looking for a special woman that is into sports(like me:) willing to help me with things when I need help. has an outgoing/enjoyable look at life(because, take it from me, life is too short and precious not to enjoy it, it can change over night, you don't know) and who is able to look past things(like me being in a wheelchair, my speech etc.) and see what a great. awesome, strong, brave and amazing person that I am. Oh. and did I forget handsome and cute? lol j/k My major turn offs are people that smoke, are impatient, have no manners and have more than usual drama in their lives. Like I have said, "not to have a "big" head but you'll Never Meet Someone Like Me" Take care and I hope to talk to you soon:)
