I’m still new to Oklahoma and have been a homebody by choice, preferring the company of my dog. She being the only female I can accurately predict Lol. I spent my life not believing for a moment I was disabled when in fact I’ve been bothered with CMT since 8. I believe in optimism, thank you mom, even when it gets knocked around by reality. I worked my whole life with active outside jobs until 2008 when previous foot surgeries made that not possible, i’ve always had a good work ethic and now try to concentrate on dog walks for my physical activity. I’m about to be a ambulatory wheelchair user, that’s the rumor anyway. Never thought I would ever look forward to picking a wheelchair but that’s where I am now. No matter what stage of life I am in it’s still me, I’d like to know someone who may have a similar lifestyle and isn’t defined by it. With the benefit of a little more age, I know more clearly now who it is I want, what’s healthy for me, and how to let go and try again.
