I’m legally blind, and have been since birth. I’m searching for a life-long “other half”, someone to hang out with, to share with, and to play with. I love people watching, so be ready for fairs, carnivals, festivals, and the like.  I’m also into just sitting and talking over dinner, or spending hours being amateur movie critics.  Star Trek and Fried Green Tomato’s…I go either way!

I’m slightly nerdy, pretty plain, practical, laid back, and down to earth with older-fashioned morals and values.  I enjoy quality things, and quality people. I’m mentally rock-solid, I don’t panic, and I have a fuse more than a mile long. I’m not into video games, nor am I into sports; I'm not the rugged outdoorsy Alpha hunter fisher hiking kayaking type.  You might talk me into camping, but you’ll definitely have to bribe me :)..  I'm the responsible intelligent educated "trove of information and random trivia, can carry on stimulating conversation about almost anything for hours" type. I speak fluently in movie quotes and references.

I generally make sure that everyone else is taken care of first, and I'll take care of you when you're sick. :)  I’ve been a professional massage therapist; I’ll let your mind wander.  I’m also a pretty fantastic listener...so I’ve heard. I absolutely love thunderstorms and rainy days.

I'm not really outgoing, more reserved actually (INTJ for those interested).  I'm a really great guy to have around in a crisis. I can change a tire...but AAA is much easier, and they have bigger tools!......ummm, wait????? :))))

I have a uniquely dry sense of humor, with seemingly impeccable comedic timing (see above!); I’m the one who will make you spray coke out your nose or wet your pants...or both...at the same time...while driving!! (sorry, it just happens that way) :). I'm certainly mature, but I can be a total cornball depending on who I'm with and what I'm doing.  I've been called a dork more times than I can count.

I’m generally neat, clean, and kept. I look my age, but I’ve earned it.  Much of it is by design though; I play the roll of distinguished and trusted professional, so I must look and act the part; my spirit however, Is still somewhere in its late 30's, early 40’s.  I’m youthful, I still watch 80’s movies and cartoons, and I'm a moderate SciFi geek!

I don't play mind-games, and I don't stray from my girl. I don’t like drama, I really don't like foul language, and I deplore "crude".  I don't like those with a snarky sarcastic attitude, nor those who obsessively complain about everything.  I am not a fan of heavy make-up (ok, make-up at all really, I like the real person), fake hair, fake nails, tattoos, piercings, loud, obnoxious, smokers, drinkers, or drug users.   And manners matter.

I'm all about calm, peaceful, and quiet...less the occasional "just gotta crank it" tunes; I'm also usually up for a good concert or show.  As you might imagine by now, I’m not into bars at all.  When I'm home, you'll most likely find Pandora on the TV, playing light jazz...”at a reasonable volume".

I'm old fashioned, so I'm going to be very honest. Im looking for someone who’s young, small, and white. Education, wealth, and status aren't that important to me. I'm searching for a best friend; someone who’s all "Girl", and enjoys being a girl. Simple, shy, quiet, generally conservative. The “home-body bookworm nerd girl next door” type with a pleasant way about her. One who looks cute in a simple dress and flats, or sweats and converse. A wholesome soul who's sweet, caring, happy, fun, playful, soft, and loyal who still gets excited about birthdays and Christmas. I love a girl who can pull off double braids, and who might know ASMR.
